What to think about.

Posted on 18th Oct 2013 at 11:11 PM from Warwick

Today has been an eventful day for me. A number of things have gone wrong... I have been expecting an important payment into my bank account which didn't arrive. Plus, it was the dreaded MOT day and the car has failed. Not only will this involve considerable expense but it will also mean the car being out of action for a number of days.

However, there have also been some really good things happen today. I have a brand new customer, I have spent some quality time with my sister which is unusual and this evening we have been out for a nice family meal.

So now it is bedtime and I have a choice. I can either concentrate on the good things of the day or on the troublesome things of the day. It is easy to dwell on the negatives but far more rewarding to make a conscious choice to think about what has gone well. Concentrating on the positives is likely to give me a better night of sleep and get me closer to my goals. So that is what I will do!
