Daily Routine

I've had a daily routine for a few years now and I've been updating that routine every three weeks for at least 18 months. And every time it gets updated, it gets better.

Last weekend I created a new daily routine and I really seem to have got it right this time :)

Usually I manage to effectuate once or twice during the 3 week routine. But so far this time we are on day 3 and I have effectuated every day. (see what I mean by effectuation).

What I have done is to strip out all the things that I want to get done and left in just the things that I really have to do. I've then put a half hour slot for each of my 3 highest priority goals for this 3 week period. What this means is that I get straight on with my morning work, get that out of the way and then concentrate on the things that move my life forwards.

It may have taken a while, but by improving the system a little at a time every 3 weeks it appears that I have at last come up with a great result. Although I'm sure there will need updating again in 3 weeks time, I am happy with the current level of productivity.

Most people have a few bad habits that don't always serve them or help them achieve and everyone knows how difficult it is to change.

Ian has outlined a simple and effective way to replace bad habits with good success habits which will help those that follow it achieve their goals.
